The challenge of this piece is to convey a sequence of life events — to make a sculpture which reflects a woman’s awareness over time — and, to focus once again on a redefining moment for humanity. For me alone to suggest further meaning to the piece, other than that conveyed in its title and design, would be to diminish the value-added meaning from its potential audience, who will view it with the richness and meaning of their own life's deliberations. 33 x 28 x 9 cm red and white earthenware, with wax and dye |
