from "The Pool Queue"

by Nancy Guild Bendall

In fact this piece is unfinished sculpture. It was originally designed as outdoor sculpture and a part of a line up characters waiting outside the pool house on our property. The focus of the design — swimmers of all ages and shapes waiting for their turn at the swimming pool — has no hidden meaning; just a celebration of the diversity of humanity, the joy of swimming and the blessing of laughter.
